Since 2008, NyTeknik’s 33-list has celebrated Sweden’s top young tech startups, highlighting innovative companies with strong growth potential and unique technical solutions. Companies can appear on the list three times.

Listing Sweden's Top Tech Startups

NyTeknik’s list of the 33 most promising Swedish tech companies has since 2008 focused on identifying the most innovative startups with high growth potential. 

  • Companies on the list must be Swedish, unlisted, and under seven years old.
  • Each company must showcase a unique technical innovation with the potential to make an international impact.
  • Past honorees include companies like Spotify, iZettle, and Northvolt, underscoring the list’s reputation as a launchpad for game-changing tech businesses in Sweden.

The list is curated through a rigorous selection process, with hundreds of nominations reviewed by NyTeknik’s jury. RemotiveLabs has created a cloud-based development platform for vehicle manufacturers. It helps accelerate the development and validation of new software in the industry’s crucial transition to software-defined vehicles.

The company makes the list for the second year. Sales have gained momentum – since last year, annual recurring license revenues have increased from SEK 4 million to over SEK 9 million.

At the beginning of summer, RemotiveLabs secured an investment of approximately SEK 10 million, with participation from customer and previous investor Volvo Cars Tech Fund. The company’s client list also includes a major American vehicle manufacturer.
